A respected marketing entrepreneur, Juliette has been working to connect photographers with buyers for more than 20 years.
Juliette started her career at Black Book prior to launching Alternative Pick, where she was co-publisher and president for 14 years. As managing director at the AdAge Group, she launched Creativity’s Spark*, a print and online resource of photographers, and then went on to co-found the artist search site, FoundFolios.com (now FoundArtists.com).
Juliette has traveled across the US, meeting with photographers and interviewing art buyers, editors, and industry insiders for a podcast series, "Art Buyers Lounge." Seminars she has led include, "Mastering Careers in Commercial and Fine Art Photography Simultaneously," "Affordably Simple Marketing: Best Practices for Marketing Your Creative Business," and "Ignite Your Brand."
After a stint as director of business development and marketing at WPP’s Brand Union, Juliette joined APA National as national executive director.
APA is a not-for-profit trade organization whose mission is to help professional photographers navigate changes in the industry in order to be successful and more profitable. APA connects photographers with buyers through portfolio reviews, award shows, a sourcebook, and an online search. APA champions the rights of photographers with lobbying efforts in DC and through close monitoring of contracts and copyright laws.
