In 2002 Tarquino joined Leo Burnett Colombia and under Juan Carlos Ortiz’s supervision (current President for DDB Latina), he worked for accounts such as Banco Davivienda and Toyota. In February 2003 he joined DDB Colombia and, together with Jairo Lezaca, won the first Gold for DDB Colombia at the London Festival.
In 2006, Tarquino joined Lowe / SSP3 and under José Miguel Sokoloff supervision’s (Global Creative Council) and Francisco Samper, was recognized for work such as the “Heroes” Campaign for Pilsen Beer SAB Miller - Great EFFIE Colombia
In 2007 Tarquino was invited by Mauricio Rocha, current VP Creative Y&R Spain, to work together with him at Leo Burnett Colombia.In early 2009 he traveld to Madrid and worked for Ignition K, an agency led by Miguel Ángel Furones, current CEO of Publicis Iberia.
With Tarquino ́s excellent management skills at Leo Burnett, in 2010 he was promoted to CCO by Olga Lucía Villegas, President of Publicis One Colombia and he was in charge of developing work for Renault, Nestlé, Groupe Seb, Diners Club, Museum of Modern Art Bogotá and Foundation Cirec.
In 2015, together with Jacobo Alvarez, Camilo Carvajal, Publicis Colombia were chosen as the best agencies in Colombia at El Dorado Festival and the Mambo as the best advertiser in Colombia, also won their first Cannes Lions (France) the only Gold in its history and also the first GP for Publicis Iberoamérica at El Ojo de Iberoamérica Festival.
During 2016 the historical achievement awards continued for Publicis Colombia: Best of Discipline and Gold in One Show, Yellow & Graphite Pencil in D&AD and GP at the New York Festival.
