Hello, my name is Antonella. I am passionate about nature, wildlife, photography and art. I mainly work as a professional Fine Art Restorer, based in Rome. Most of the time in the Vatican Museums.I often bring my camera with me when traveling, even for short trips in my city. I often find myself fascinated by something interesting to capture. Images are like words, thoughts, memories. Images are the way the world talks to me. My favourite subjects are Puffins, they are what first ignited my passion for wildlife photography. They have been my medicine when I suffered of depression many years ago, when I decide to visit Westray, a remote island of Orkney. Those islands are my favourite place on Earth. It is a magnetic place that I call home. I love everything there, people, nature, wildlife and the ever changing weather. What I hope is that with my photography I can show how magnificent and delicate are the creatures who live around us, and how much they need our respect. With a bit of humour as well. I have other photographic projects to develop, I am still working on them. They are connected with the city where I was born and live, Rome, and my job.
