I was born in Ambato, Ecuador, I am half Chilean and half Ecuadorian. I learned to walk in the beach, that's why I like the sea so much.
At age 9 we went to live to Chile, I was in several colleges, Latadia, Chilean Antarctica until I arrived at SSCC Manquehue where I graduated. I thought architecture was my thing, but there was something, something called advertising, that caught my eyes. Just when i made the decision to study Advertising, we returned to live in Ecuador. In 1996 I came to live in Guayaquil and started studying at Monica Herrera, now Casa Grande, where I was also a teacher from 2004 to 2006.. In 1999 I decided to go to live in Quito, where I taught at the Institute of Metropolitan Design, La Metro, In 2000 I entered a different small agency and from there I did not stop.
Now let's talk a bit about my advertising career. My first steps were in a local agency as Art Director, 6 months later I entered in McCann Erickson, where I worked for 6 years, between the office of Quito and Guayaquil. Then I had a quick pass through Fisher America, and then entered in Maruri Grey as the general creative director of the Quito office.
I returned to Guayaquil to work in Saltiveri Ogilvy, where I am a Creative Director. In my first year I managed to take the agency to second place in the local Creative rankings. Win your first Grand Effie and win your first international awards, including a Grand Prix. This led me to be part of the Creative Council of Ogilvy Latin America. Achieving in these 5 years that Ogilvy Ecuador is recognized within the local environment as one of the most creative agencies in the market.
I manage the leading accounts in virtually all segments, such as:
Claro, General Motors, Nestlé, Johnson & Johnson, Banco de Guayaquil, American Express, Marathon Sport, Colineal, Pacificard, TONICOrp.
I have won more than 80 local and international awards, New York Festival, Ojo de Iberoamérica, Fiap, Caribbean Festival, Effie Awards, one eyeland. Plus 20 new businesses for the agency.
I love taking photos and cooking. When I take photos I relax, capture moments, a person or a landscape takes you further. On the other hand, for me, there is nothing more important than caring for people, especially giving them food, that moment is full of energy and love, so for 6 years together with my wife we created a brand casa roja.
Well this is a bit of my life, so when I say "love simple life" is the reflection of understanding life as something beautiful and full of simple things that make you happy.
