Juliana is a Regional Creative Director at Memac Ogilvy & Mather in the Middle East and North Africa region, leading 15 offices from her hub in Dubai. At Ogilvy, she got to grips with an important piece of business in a challenging market in a remarkably short space of time, her work for them winning 3 Golds, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze at the Cannes Lions, 5 Pencil at D&AD, leading it to be considered the 'The 5th Most-Awarded Print/OOH campaign in the world by Gunn Report 2016' and Ogilvy to win Cannes Lions Network of the Year.
More than art direction craft, Juliana loves to come up with ideas. Hence her first portfolio got her a job as an intern copywriter at Leo Burnett in São Paulo. When she told her future boss that she was an art director, he reacted with a mix of surprise and contempt. Nevertheless, she got the job. It was the ironic start of an award-winning art direction career in 3 countries (Brazil, Germany and UAE), 3 networks and 1 independent agency (Leo Burnett, Y&R, Jung von Matt and Ogilvy).
