André Boto, born on March 6, 1985 in Silves (Portugal). Professional photographer since 2009, my main focus is the personal projects and commercial areas of photography like: product, advertising, interiors, architecture and industrial. Among several things, photography and image editing allow me to create beyond what reality shows us, creating stories and opening horizons to the viewers. The image/photography is a strong way to comunicate and send messages and that\'s magical for me. I have always had a connection to the arts, and the degree in Decorative Arts (finished in 2007) is today another weapon to find solutions, modify and sometimes build the objects that I need to photograph to materialize ideas. This art degree along with the courses of Advanced and Conceptual Photography in \"Oficina da Imagem\" was a huge part of my art education. Always fascinated by surrealism and creating illusions, my favorite authors/inspirations, are: M.C.Escher, René Magritte and Salvador Dalí. Main Achievments: 2022 - Grand Prize Winner of the International Environmental Photography Contest 2022, USA. 2021 - Overall Winner of the WPE Awards 2021, France 2021 - Platinum Award in Muse Photography Awards 2021, USA. 2021 - 1st Prize in Product Category of the Creative Photo Awards 2021, Italy. 2020 - Gold Medal in the San Francisco Bay International Awards, USA. 2010 - FEP - European Photographer of the Year 2010
