Biography | Bio Anne Ihalmo Anne Ihalmo is a new media artist based in Rovaniemi, Finland. Her means of expression include digital imaging, photography, video art, and net.art. Her work is presented on platforms such as YouTube and in virtual galleries. She also uses ready-made installations as part of her artistic expression. Anne Ihalmo has participated in several group exhibitions, the most recent being Digital Khora, a video work showcased in The Body Language, an international contemporary art exhibition held at Galleria Monti in Rome in July 2024. Over the years, she has also held solo exhibitions. Among her recognitions are a second prize and several honorable mentions in photography competitions organized by Kamera magazine. In 2021, she received the Luxembourg Art Prize Certificate of Recognition for her participation in the international selection. Anne Ihalmo holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Lapland, where she also pursued postgraduate studies.
