"Food stories seem to be an on going theme of 2013 with the horse meat scandal and the test tube burger both very well documented. This was a news story that I happened to read back in the summer on The Guardians website. I’d not heard about the issues in Cambodia about the EU sugar trade before, but this was a really through provoking story that I thought had something in it that could become visual."
