"ÑATITA 01 Serie: ÑATITAS Retratos Inertes This series was exhibited at the tenth edition of the festival of photography "Buenos Aires Photo" in the "Centro Cultural Recoleta" in Buenos Aires - Argentina In La Paz, Bolivia there is a tradition dating back to pre-Columbian times, which says that the person who possesses a real human skull in his house will be protected by him, the belief is that human skulls have the power to care for, protect and grant wishes. This is a Portraits series of human skulls decorated with flowers, hats, sunglasses or hats bearing by popular name "ÑATITAS" (flat noses) which is a manifestation within the traditions and the cult of death in Bolivia. This series is on exhibition at the TUNDRA Gallery."
