"The mud flats of Derby are simply amazing. They seem to go on forever, thanks to the massive tidal flows and monster wet seasons up in the Kimberley. I stayed at the Kimberley Entrance Caravan Park on my 3 days there, which abuts the mud flats, so I had a ball photographing them for many an hour - sunrise, sunset, midday and at night. This image was taken at sunrise one morning, just as the sun rose over the horizon behind me, sending my shadow almost to the horizon."
