"Hudson bay has very large tidal movement, meaning the water level can rise and drop 5 meters in height resulting in vast territories where only rocks and pools can be found. Polar bears (Ursus Maritimus) are gathering here because the water of the bay freezes earlier as a result of fresh water arriving from the rivers mixing with sea water."
