"There is a very high likelihood I was the last person on the planet who took a long exposure of the iconic tree of New Zealand, as the day after it was attacked by someone, who cut some branches with a saw. Most of the NZ news websites are still talking about this.\r\n\r\nI opted for a long exposure, to have a different and more personal view, as this spot is the more photographed in NZ. So I put the camera in BULB mode and set the shutter speed to 18 minutes, enjoyed the peaceful moonrise on the beach and let the camera do the second part of the work."
