"On a trip through the Great Southern region of Western Australia in late 2018, I stopped by to visit the famous Lake Dumbleyung (which was still full of water due to the massive rains in Jan-2017). This is an aerial image of the lake, with a small group of pelicans slowly gliding through the many dead gum trees still standing tall around the lake. I have processed this image in B&W and darkened the lake to really make the starkness of the barren trees stand out, given it quite a surreal feel.\r\n\r\nOn Wilman Nyoongar people’s land"
