"On a very recent visit to Stirling Ranges National Park (the Great Southern region, Western Australia), I climbed the 2nd highest peak, Toolbrunup, at 1052m, and I was blessed by the Mountain Gods. The weather that day was very overcast and inclement, and of the two other groups I met on the climb, one preceding and one after, I was the only one who had any view at the top (without being completely whited-out). And what a stunning, incredible view it was. There wa s a thick blanket of dark cloud overhanging the Ranges, but the entire valley was awash with diffused sunlight. And Bluff Knoll in the distance had a her head poking out of some brightly lit clouds. I stood in awe taking in the view for what seemed like forever. It was so sublime and an almost spiritual experience, and as I mentioned, the Mountain Gods looked very favorably upon me that day (maybe they knew I was going to create this special image for them)."
