"Delusional Ecstasy is a contemporary metaphor drawn from Gian Lorenzo Bernini\'s Ecstasy of Saint Teresa. In his vision, spiritual pain and pleasure fuse in a moment of divine surrender—an ecstatic union where the body becomes a vessel for transcendence. Today, that union feels distant. Perhaps even obsolete. This photograph does not reenact Bernini\'s sculpture—it dismantles its afterlife. It confronts the delusion embedded in our modern relationship with the sacred.
