These two portraits of Shakespeare's Mariana are an attempt at placing life amongst the emptiness, without disturbing the dust or breaing the silence. They are portraits of solitude and of pensiveness; they are a celebration of memory as well as of moments forgotten. A huge thank you to Shaun Mascarenhas and Monica Kisielewicz for designing and creating this dress...entirely out of paper!"
