Conceptual

"It is beginning of the end. The human form is lifted into the sky into a vision of majestic solitude. Beings rise above the clouds in contemplation of their future after their time on earth has ended. A homage to the biblical allegory, this series redefines the human response to the rapture. Not only does it realize the breathtaking physical composition, but it also suggests the overwhelming emotional reaction several humans have to being swept away for the end of times. Background plates are captured from an airplane thousands of feet above the earth’s surface across the United States. Together, the narrative and aesthetic elements of this concentration work towards the objective: to envision the emotional response human beings will have when their time on earth has come to an end."
