"The joy of playing with scale, rhtythm and abstraction versus reality provided the theme for this image. The windows seemed to be phrases from an imaginary culture: the variations of the windows (rectangles, triangles or combinations of those) really came close to the feeling that I strive for as an artist. Overlooking my series of photos I decided to combine close-ups of the building with total views, so the rhythm comes across more purely, away from understanding the function of the building."
