"A look at L.A.\'s great architectural buildings examined through a collage of old photographs and postcards from the early to mid 20th century with today\'s views of the same locations.\r\n\r\nA selection of the ongoing project, showing the juxtaposition between old and new, is currently being exhibited in the center of DTLA.\r\n\r\nThis image shows the old Angels Flight in Downtown L.A., taking tourists and local via train to the top of the incline above Hill Street Tunnel. It was later moved west just across the entrance to Grand Central Market. Buildings in the black and white photo are dwarfed by today\'s imposing skyscrapers; clothing styles have very much changed over the 100 years that divide these images."
