I have been taking pictures since I found my parents polaroid camera at age 8. Before the digital age, I carried a film camera with me in my purse. I always had a camera on hand and was able to capture special moments in my life. Since 2010, I have been posting photos everyday or \"photo of the day\" documenting who I\'ve met, where I\'ve been, what I\'ve done, etc. Today, I continue to take photos in hopes to capture a feeling or tell a story in my photography on Facebook and Instagram. In my off time, I have forced myself to get out and shoot. I do a lot of traveling and like photographing new places and different cultures and capturing the night with long exposure. I\'ve been photographing birds and wildlife in the last few years and have been enjoying the challenge. It\'s extremely difficult getting a bird in a good position, at a good distance, in focus, etc. They are unpredictable and fast moving and I often find myself having to be ready since it can happen at any moment. There are time where I sit there for hours and nothing or drive for hours to a location and nothing. I work at capturing the moment and sharing it in hopes to give the viewer a glimpse of what it\'s like being there.
