Kim Newman is a fine art equine and nature photographer currently residing in northern Virginia. With a passion for capturing connections in and with her subjects, her photography has been described as evocative of their spirit and essence, “like a window into a soul.” In her recent collections, she shares her love of horses in beautiful places including Andalusia, Spain; Sable Island, Nova Scotia; British Columbia, and the American West where she photographs wild mustangs. Kim is primarily self-taught along with learning from top photographers in their workshops in the field. Kim’s work has received global recognition in various competitions, and has been featured in gallery exhibits in northern Virginia, the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo in Denver, Colorado, as well as virtual exhibits.
