Libby Volgyes is an international-award winning food and beverage photographer based in West Palm Beach, Florida and Hood River, Ore. She launched Libby Vision, a food photography studio in 2012 after years working for The Palm Beach Post as a photojournalist. Today, Volgyes works with restaurants, brands, magazines and on ad campaigns. She is known for an evocative dark and moody style of food photography as well as her powerful beverage photography. In spring of 2019, her personal project Faces of Food was selected to exhibit at the FoodPhoto Festival in Vejle, Denmark. She was the only American and one of just 17 photographers honored. The project went on to be a finalist for the FoodPhoto Feature Award. During the pandemic, Volgyes and her husband bought a 1903 farmhouse in Hood River, Oregon and she is currently renovating the 4,000 square foot Craftsman. She enjoys traveling between the Pacific Northwest and south Florida. When not working, she enjoys hiking, traveling, espresso and her two-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback, Talulah.
