Nicholas Samaras is a freelance underwater photographer with emphasis in marine life, commercial advertising and fashion. After a successful career as Creative Director in advertising area he picked up diving 18 years ago and exclusively with underwater photography since 2004.
His professional stability, his quality of work and dedication along with insistence on testing new things and his feeling of aesthetics are the elements that established him both in Greece and abroad. Nicholas has received several international awards in the most prestigious international nature photography competitions worldwide and his work portfolio and articles have been published in several magazines and books.
Based in Greece, Nicholas now works in his studio editing his new work while dividing his time conducting photographic workshops and the exploration of ocean’s beauties.
