Peter Rossi, with his partner Charmaine Heyer, founded Highlights Photography, a portrait photography studio in Cairns, North Queensland, Australia. \'We enjoy photographing people to make a great record of an important event and also illustrate the moment through visual storytelling.\' Peter has won the AIPP Australian Photographer of the Year in 2001 and 2016. He has also won the AIPP Australian Portrait Photographer of the Year, seven times and the Australian Creative Photographer of the Year, 4 times. \'As a photographer, it\'s up to you how you experience your world, what your view of the world will be, and how you present that imagery to others for them to interpret. I have been endeavouring to capture the beauty in all types of subject matter and telling photographic stories since 1985.\'
