"A night in the outskirts of The Hague. This is an actual appartment building. The dark outside wall is opened by scattered windows of different sizes. Behind this wall you can see illuminated corridors where people walk to access their appartments. I particularly loved the silhouette play between the foreground windows and the coloured doors behind. Because of the strong contrast it almost looks like a collage. I only changed the rectangular layout of the original building to a square, so the composition is more concentrated and the scale became just the way I wanted."
