I am a self-taught amateur photographer from Luxembourg (Europe) since 1990. Started in the dark room, was never satisfied with the quality of color paper prints and quickly found my way to shooting reversal (slide) film. This taught me to see the picture before hitting the shutter. There was no editing or cropping afterwards. Until 2006 when I bought my first digital camera. I had a few longer breaks in between until I remembered my old hobby about 5 years ago, since then I make photos literally every day. My background is working as a software engineer, having contributed to a lot of innovative graphical and image editing applications on Macintosh when PCs had a 16-color palette and only a handful of people knew what jpg stands for. Fun fact: I was among the first users of Photoshop version 0.8. long before Adobe saw their business opportunity. I am a multi-genre photographer for the simple reason that I do not want to become a specialist and therefore would have to renounce the endless possibilities that photography offers.. Having ADD I would be terribly bored if I always shot the same kind of photographs. I need challenges. Enjoy my non-AI pictures, always have a camera with you and don\'t forget to have fun! ;-)
