Chilean advertising executive with a degree in Social Communication and more than 18 years of experience in Advertising, Communication Business and Art Direction.
He began his career in Chile, working at Young & Rubicam and Lowe. In 2009 he joined Ogilvy where he remained for three years before moving to Ogilvy Colombia as Head of Art and Regional Creative Director for Coca-Cola Latin Center Business Unit, a position he stills holds today.
In 2017 he became the Creative Vice President and CCO of Ogilvy Colombia. And in 2021 he added the creative responsibility of the Ogilvy Andean Cluster.
During his career, JuanPa has accumulated more than 340 awards in creativity and advertising effectiveness. Among them: Cannes Lions, Clio, D&AD, One Show, LIA, El Sol, FIAP, New York Festival, Effie and Ojo de Iberoamerica.
During his almost nine years in Colombia, his agency has been named "Agency of the year" in "El Sol", "Best Colombian Agency" for six years in "El Ojo de Iberoamerica" and top five in "Crema", the most important ranking at regional level, for five years in a row.
In 2015, 2016 and 2018, he received the award for “Best Creative Director” in Colombia from “El Ojo” and was named the 4th Best Creative in Latin America. In 2018, he was awarded with the GRAND PRIX of Product Design at Cannes Lions and in 2019 he was invited to be juror at the same festival.
During 2019, Ogilvy Colombia was recognized as the best agency in Latin America at "The One Show" and "Clio Awards", also receiving a GRAND CLIO. Ranked top 3 in creativity among the 500 offices in the Ogilvy Network and ranked as the #34th agency in the world according to WARC.
During 2020 he was named the 3rd Best Creative of Latam by “El Ojo” and in 2021 he received the honor of being the #1Best Creative in Latam by “The One Show”, reached the #6 position in the Ogilvy global ranking.
Also, in 2021 he was appointed Latam Regional Leader for the Advertising, Brand & Content pilar at Ogilvy, having as responsibility the network’s growth in that business.
