Trevallyn Hall

Trevallyn has been an Art Director for over 15 years, starting his career in South Africa and later moving to London where he has been at Ogilvy & Mather Advertising for five, where he is now Creative Director on Philips. He has worked across other global brands like Dove, Expedia and Amnesty International. His latest campaign for Philips won the prestigious Pharma Grand Prix at the 2016 Cannes Lions as well as several gold and silvers. His work for 28 Too Many tackling the subject matter of Female Genital Mutilation helped bring the subject into the public space, as well as earning the best in show with the Grand Clio Award at the 2015 ceremony where 28 Too many also received the prestigious Advertiser of the year.

In his time as an art director he has had the pleasure of working with a myriad of exceptional photographers that have both inspired and taught him the nuances of capturing the moment. It's all about the light.

His other interests fall far and wide, from a very manly love for anything with a combustion engine, to the simple pleasure of watching a campfire in the bush. His love for travel and adventure means he is fond of the odd snap or too, constantly trying to capture the story of the moment. Sometimes even successfully.

A Tamboly (www.tambolydesign.com)

Dramatic lights, intense colors, diverse palettes, which through the years of artistic practice has become the signature of my photography. Based in Berlin and specialized in people, fashion and travel photography.

When I received my first camera at the age of seven, first lesson ever, was not to open the camera backdoor while exposing a film roll, I was a very curious child.

In the forth grade I won a simple kodak camera from a "Ghostbusters" sticker album. I grew up experimenting with the miraculous device, and learning to experience the world through its lens. Through experiments and plays, I gradually developed an artistic vision of the world.

Being an art enthusiastic and a talented drawer, beside my interest in psychology, philosophy and world history, have always it's impact on my photographic visions. My family always encouraged me to take my own path and to chase my dreams, so I joined the Faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan University and gained my Bachelor degree in Advertising and Photography in 2001.

During the early 00?s I made a plenty of travel expedition in the Middle East and Europe, which taugh me a lot about the world.

After the revolution in Egypt in 2011 I exhibited my project "Egypt-Faces" at different avenues worldwide.

In challenging the division between art and design, I'm devoted to bridging the gap between the two, especially, to exploring the potential utility of an artwork. In my photographs I work to activate the utility and applicability aspects of my artwork in a social context by linking it to a historical background, a social phenomenon, a cultural dilemma, or a political event.

As I used to be politically active in Egypt and that I used to work for press agencies there, this fact has changed my view to the world and the subjects I discuss in my art and way I approach it.

Vincent Dixon (www.vincentdixon.com)

Street photography was my first love and it is something I've always done. In my early twenties, I moved from my childhood home in Kilkenny, Ireland to Paris, France. I was a post grad science student in Paris, devouring the humanistic work of Cartier Bresson, Eugene Smith & Andre Kertesz. Through a series of serendipitous events, my unearthed passion for photography evolved into a career as a commercial photographer.

All of my commercial work is informed by my attraction to street photography, in that I've always tried to make photos that had the spontaneity of a reportage photo despite their construction. It is not always easy but the instincts built up by constantly shooting for myself help.

In 2011, I took a sabbatical from commercial photography and went on a year-long journey around the world with my wife and four children. It was a priceless experience to share authentically new experiences with my family, as well a time to submerge myself in creating photo-essays of our travels; I was free from the confines of a working schedule.

By the summer of 2012, with my year abroad coming to an end, I was excited to get back to work. My travel journeys initiated the debut of a collection of images and stories titled, "Wanderings." The lines between personal and commercial work are blurred as I commit with each photograph to tell the story.

Sharad Haksar (www.sharadhaksar.com)

Sharad Haksar is India's most accomplished photographer. Awards and accolades have chased Sharad Haksar ever since he acquired the craft from masters like Bill Megalos, Constatine Manos, Robert Farber, Sol Negrin and Iqbal Mohamed.

Innumerable shoots with brands have honed his skill of being an artist with a keen eye for advertising, fashion, still life, travel, conceptual photography and cinematography.

Being a passionate creative person with a nose for design, Sharad also runs an advertising agency called 1pointsize. And he happens to be the founder of One Eyeland.

I'm a strategic conceptual and visual thinker with a unique creative imagination served by technology.

I've won big pitches (lost a few), launched, loved and loathed a few brands. I've been nominated, won and high-fived in over 50 creative and effectiveness awards at both international and national level (most of them left in cabs on the way home) and above all had great fun along the way.

Recognised by D&AD, Epica, NYfest, Roses, Fresh, Cream, Adma and ranked 44th most published Art Director in the Lurzers Archive World ranking.
